Patriotic Circles

Hi, everyone.

Today's card is a patriotic one inspired by today's OWH sketch. I try to make an Any Hero card every week. And, after this week's events, I was especially inspired to make a card of appreciation for one of our troops. USA! USA! USA!

Bo Bunny Liberty; Distress Ink core paper; white cardstock: AC; red, blue cardstock: Bazzill Watermelon, Admiral
circles: Creative Memory cutting system, Marvy punch, EK punch
stars: Fiskars and Paper Studio punches; border punch: Fiskars; Mark Richards crystals and miscellaneous gem

The big circular image is from a piece of 12 by 12 Bo Bunny Liberty paper, and is half the size of the original image. I've wanted to use it for some time now. So, I scanned it and printed a smaller version for this card.

All in all, I was pretty true to the sketch. Circles are placed under the horizontal strip -- and are slightly larger that the sketch dimensions. The card's actually a little busier than most of mine. But, I think I kind of like it.

Parting Thoughts

Hoping to be back later tonight or tomorrow with some birthday cards.

Have a box of cards, including Father's Day cards, to send to Kris.

Until then, thanks for visiting and happy scrappin'!

This is awesome Sybrina! I love everything about it and so will a hero. All the elements just flows so well, and how clever to scan the paper and then resize it. Thanks for playing!

That is some of my favorite paper, right there. :) Thanks for sharing! I love your heads up about the coloring pages, too. Those are some really cute images. I'm going to have to go snag some! :)
