A Wintry Escape

Hi, everyone.

Paula's Boot Camp challenge for us this month is to consider our use of "white" space as a design element. For the card below, I went with some "pine needle" space as the canvas for some winter flora.

We R Memory Keeper's Winter Frost; Distress Ink core; stash cardstock
OWH fundraising ribbon; garage sale brads; Tombow foam adhesives

In addition to this month's focus, I tried to incorporate several other boot camp lessons: a strong focal point, the rule of thirds, [kind of] the 10-30-70 color rule, and an odd number of embellishments.

Short and sweet tonight. Thanks for stopping and happy scrappin'! And, thanks Paula, for another wonderful lesson!

Nice CAS design Sybrina! I can see this being used for anyone and any occasion... making it a good one for OWH. I like that you opted for a paper with a bit of texture in it for your green. It adds a nice elegant feel. Thanks for joining in on the September Bootcamp!
