Hope everyone's having a great weekend!
It's a cloudy day here with some must-see television viewing for golf fans. Translation: This is some prime cardmaking time!
Today's Cards
This year, I've tried to make an Any Hero card for every OWH Sunday sketch. But, when I saw today's sketch, I immediately thought of a masculine birthday card with 5 candles. (Maybe the card I made for hubby yesterday was still mulling around in my brain...)
So, what's a girl to do? That's easily answered -- make two cards! :)

Parting Thoughts
Hoping to work on a card for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge to make a card with numbers. Should be easy for someone who's spent a life in mathematics education, right?
Have a wonderful week. Thanks for visiting and happy scrappin'!

Both your cards are great takes based on the sketch! The birthday candles are genius!
Wow Sybrina, I love how you've interpreted the 5 strips... the candles are genius! What a great idea to make a card for the challenge and one extra as a Any Hero card. Thanks so much for playing!
I love the candle card! Both are great! The embossing is a nice touch!
Fantastic job. I love the candles.
How clever are those candles? And I really like how you dry embossed every other one!
And that's a wonderful idea to make an any hero card with all the challenges! I need to do that, as well.
What a great idea to turn those 5 little papers into candles! Thank you for sharing.
:)
Wow, two cards in one day and one challenge! I love it when a sketch speaks to us. Great use of your papers, totally different feels. Nice job!
